If you had to make a choice between domination and competition, which solution would you choose? You are in business but actually you are participating in a game without your knowledge. I can talk about everything, but here I just want to talk about business. The game you play in has two categories: one is limited and two is unlimited. One is competition and the other is dominating.
Competition is simpler. If you like doing it this way, you don’t need to do anything because you’re in the game like that. You choose your opponents and fight them. You guys play until either of you leaves the game. The game will have to have a winner. You or the other.
A similar new concept is that the war is limited and the battle is unlimited. The limited battle is the competitive war I mentioned above. The fight will stop when either of you leaves the game. And the battle without limits is a battle of those who want to maintain it. The purpose of this war is not to let it end and force people to keep playing. Or keep playing until either of you reaches your goal.
The question is why do people want to maintain the fight. Let me give an example for everyone to better understand. In Vietnam’s resistance war against the US, why did we win? (understood from the above perspective on the war). On the one hand, the United States and its allies fought a limited battle and wanted to win early because it was less expensive to finish early, which was the mentality of the participants in the war no matter what level. And Everyone thinks a lot about their egos. As such, they participated in a limited battle. Why do I know that, because they always hope to finish early so they can do something else. As for Vietnam, we are different, our mind is to join the war without limits, we will continue to fight, and never stop fighting until we gain independence and freedom for the people of Vietnam. We do not matter how much human and physical energy is used. Everyone agreed to contribute money, contribute to the fight. We don’t always win, but we always try to learn from experience to win the next match. That’s why we will win anyway. And we won.
Again talking about Apple’s business perspective, they also want to maintain the game indefinitely. That is, the seller continues to sell and the buyer continues to buy. Want to be like that, what are the thoughts of the seller and the buyer? The buyer is completely dependent on the seller. So what does the seller think? Referring to a year-end Apple conference, it was found that Apple did not want to compete with other brands that it aimed at making customers happy and instructing customers to use their products. in the most effective way.
On the contrary, if you attend a seminar of businesses with other business items, they only focus on finding ways to win other competitors in a certain market, they research at What is their market position and what are their competitors losing to so they can find a way to surpass that competitor? It is important that you like to participate in any game? Do you think it matters whether you win against your competitors? Why do you need the number one position? Being a market leader does not mean that you can be assured of that position. You will always have to worry about who wants to take your place. What you are interested in is your own ego. And if you’re going to play in an unlimited game, which means endless games, but to keep people playing, there’s only one way you have to think of everyone, not yourself or a group. . If the chairman of the board of directors or the general manager only thinks about the time he retires, whether the business will continue to grow after that. Your game is over but the business is not.
It’s hard to prolong the game. As for the number one position, you have billions of opponents to fight. Why do martial arts masters never sit in love and they often go looking for opponents to challenge? What they want is their ego. Assuming they win against everyone else, will they still have the energy to benefit? So is gambling. The psychology of playing to win should make the player unaware of the stop because they are simply unable to win against the house. Winning happy ham and losing, ham removed. I mean Sellers and Buyers. Buyers only continue to buy when they still love the product, service and company. Sellers only continue to sell when they still love the job and do it for a noble purpose. The seller here is that I mean all employees of a company. So how to do? Buyers are easier then. They only pay when they buy a product or service when they think they get more than they paid. And the seller who wants to do it must understand 1. The principle of the game is not limited, 2. They must choose in a way to dominate, not compete. 3.
